Tim, Marie and the boys were in town for the annual Brothers of Aron St. Patrick's Day Dinner. We decided to visit on Friday. It was the nicest day of the week. After an exciting lunch of mini corn-dogs at Tyler's Tender we went to Central Park. It was kind of weird for me because it had been so long since I'd last been there. The boys ran around and played for hours and even climbed the tank. It's sad that it's back to cold. Maybe if we think spring the warm weather will return quickly. See you guys at Easter.

What a beautiful day. It was so fun playing with all the kids at the park and chatting with the adults. Its not that often that Casey and Bennett get to play with their cousins; they had a lot of fun. Can't wait for spring! Thanks for the pics, Aud.
Looks like you guys had fun....you can't go wrong with the tank and Central Park! See you Sunday!
Great pictures of the kids I can see that the Garvey Clan is in good hands. Sure is a lot of boys.
I remember when they rolled that tank right down Broad Street. We could crawl in it and I can still remember the smell of oil and fuel. God, did it ever stink. After a while they had it welded shut but we had a great time before the hatch was shut.
For a little more history Before 1966 Griffith did not have a Girls Softball league. Well for some reason my dad thought he needed to coach a team which in itself funny because he never even played catch with us boys. Anyway there I think were 8 teams and the self serving name we came up with was the Garvey Go-Getters. So that is the start of the Griffith Girls Softball League.
You all take care and I'll try to give you some more Griffth History.
Love,UB
